Discover Iloilo: Midway
Today, just this afternoon, my friends, Razel and Eggai wanted to have desserts for snacks. While waking on the busy of streets of Iloilo City, we happened to stopped by on this little restaurant in the middle of the city. Actually before, Razel and I have already eaten here because I really wanted to try their homemade ice cream. Before, the place was actually smaller but the setting is nice, feels like you are in a mini garden in the middle of the busy Delgado St. It was already quite dark outside when we came so I have not gotten any picture of how the outside looks like, but I've got plenty of pictures inside the restaurant. The restaurant and kitchen were just recently added, because before they were only a small stall, selling organic fruits, homemade preserves, and other plants.
Midway offers fresh plant produce from their own farm from Passi. It is actually my kind of restaurant which offers healthy, organic and fresh food to customers at very reasonable prices. What's even nicer is that, they use local ingredients to make delicious food which we often find in international cuisines. So here are some of the pictures which I have taken with may phone camera only:
This is quite an amazing experience we had because once you're inside, you'd really forget that you are actually in the middle of the busy city. Oh! By the way, they serve crocodile sisig here! So come and try!
Midway is located at Marymart Mall, Delgado St., Iloilo City.

So this is what their menu looks like.
They have complimentary banana chips served with homemade mayonnaise.
We ordered thier BBQ Chicken grilled pizza, which is very satisfying.
We also ordered their Alugabati Chicken Pesto. It is quite surprising, because I had never expected to have liked it so much. The waitress even said when she recommended this dish that we will never regret it.
So this is the internal view of the restaurant, this is one shows the washroom.
The view outside the window.
They also had their guests log on this cute notebook asking for comments about the restaurant and a few contact details.
